We were excited to find 7 baby bunnies in our sandbox this week. Because we have two dogs we usually never get an opportunity to see rabbits in our yard. They were the cutest things ever and left their nest yesterday. We were able to watch them leave one by one, and Maysa just adored them. She keeps going to the sand box and asking "where are the baby bunnies?" Devin ran in the Hy-Vee Triathlon on Saturday, and did a wonderful job. It was so hot and he was exhausted by the time he reached the finish line. He won a new bike so I think that helped ease the exhaustion. I'm so proud of him for doing a great job!

congrat Devin!!! We had a bunny family in our basement a few years ago..soo cute!!
After several years of infertility issues and unsuccessful pregnancy’s, I had my IVF miracle baby Devin, who is now twelve. Since I was a little girl I always had the desire to have lots of children, but things are not always as we plan them. Devin’s father and I split up when Devin was 3 years old and I wanted to have more children, but medically wouldn’t be able to. Adoption was a way that I could give a child a loving and nurturing home and family. My adoption journey began in September of 2005. After several disappointments and a lost referral I switched countries in 2007 from Panama to Guatemala. After what was the most emotional, exhausting and uncertain journey I have ever been on in my life, my family is now complete. Danilo arrived into our family on March 27th, 2008 and Maysa arrived into our family on September 5, 2008. Looking back I could have never made it though this journey of infertility and adoption without the support of other bloggers. My children are my life and I’m so thankful that we are all together as one family!
